Bakersfield launches new destination Web site

The Bakersfield Convention and Visitors Bureau launched VisitBakersfield.com to offer event planners information and provide a travel planning tool. The site includes a photo tour, current promotions and an events calendar where visitors can create a detailed travel itinerary.

“With so many people utilizing the Internet for travel research and booking, it’s essential we give users the most relevant and current information possible,” CVB Manager Don Cohen says. “The new Web site is an important tool in attracting visitors and event planners to Bakersfield.”
