The Presbyterian Church conducted 10 conferences with shared worship, meals and workshops during its first ever Big Tent celebration in Atlanta, June 11-13. The gathering of more than 1,500 Presbyterians from across the country had been a goal for the church since its last Presbyterian reunion in 1983.

Community service capped off the faith-filled discussions, worship and fellowship at the Big Tent. The Young Adult Experience offered 18-35 year olds the opportunity to give back to the community with a day of service work. Twenty Presbyterian young adults volunteered to ready a transitional housing site and distribute groceries to the needy, and more than 400 people received a 30-pound box of canned goods, cereals and rice.
