Healthy advice from the CDC

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has released its Yellow Book, or officially, the CDC Health Information for International Travel. Published every two years, the book is packed with expert information and advice for anyone traveling abroad. In addition to updates on popular features concerning jet lag, cruise ship travel, traveling with disabilities, and traveling with infants and children, the 2010 edition has expanded sections on medical tourism, traveling safely with chronic diseases and conditions, and perspectives on popular travel itineraries worldwide, including new destinations unfamiliar to many doctors. The new medical tourism section speaks to the growing trend of people combining leisure trips with medical procedures. Find the content online at cdc.gov/travel or order the hard copy from us.elsevierhealth.com.
