Edmonton opening conference facility

The largest conference center in Western Canada, the Edmonton Exposition & Conference Center, is set to open in December. The brand new, 522,000-sq.-ft. facility will be the largest conference center outside of Toronto. Notable features include four exhibition halls, a grand ballroom, and conference and catering facilities. The governments of Alberta, Canada and Edmonton all contributed funding for the $150 million Edmonton Expo Centre.
