Prayer warriors gather in St. Louis

The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod held its annual PRAY 2009 event in St. Louis, Mo., Sept. 10 – 11. More than 40 prayer warriors participated in the six-hour long prayer session. PRAY 2009 also included three hours of Bible study, hymn singing and discussion. Topping prayer lists were the church, country, economy, 9/11 victims and President Obama. Planners for the event hope PRAY 2010 will feature a live Web cast March 25-26, in order to increase participation.
