Step into the imagination of a man who arguably touched the lives of every child of much of the 20th century through today. The Walt Disney Family Museum walks visitors through the life and achievements of the legendary animator and visionary. Exhibits made up of original sketches, figurines, equipment and more memorabilia dedicated to the accomplishments and imagination of Walt Disney fill The Riley Building, a restored 1890s army barracks in the Presidio of San Francisco. Private gatherings can be held in the lobby surrounded by many of Disney’s awards and honors, in a 114-seat theater, which will screen Disney movies and host concerts, or in the Special Exhibition Hall, which can accommodate a 250-person reception.
