Delta investing in terminal renovation at JFK
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey recently approved a plan from Delta Air Lines to renovate a terminal at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). The port oversees the airport. The $1.2 billion project will substantially improve one terminal while demolishing another. Delta will begin work soon with plans to finish by mid-2013. Terminal 3 will be eliminated, and Delta will redo Terminal 4, linking it to Terminal 2. The plan adds nine gates for Delta at the airport.
