Event centers open, complete renovations
The former Radisson Stapleton has completed a multimillion-dollar renovation and reopened as the 300-room Holiday Inn Denver East-Stapleton hotel. The hotel, which is located just a mile from the Denver International Airport and less than five miles east of downtown Denver, is in the thriving Stapleton area, the largest expansion project in the city. The hotel also has 20,000 square feet of flexible, high-tech meeting space and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
The AAA four-diamond Swissôtel Chicago opened a 38,000-sq.-ft. Event Centre, a multi-level combination of ballrooms and meeting rooms. Four ballrooms, including a 14,000-sq.-ft. and 5,680-sq.-ft. ballroom, can be broken out into several salons. State-of-the-art technology and wireless Internet capabilities are throughout the center.
After a more than $15 million renovation to the property, Hilton reflagged the Rosemont Hotel at O’Hare as Hilton Rosemont/Chicago O’Hare. The renovation includes the guest rooms, lobby, health club, meeting rooms, conference center, grand ballroom and more. The hotel offers 287 guest rooms and 12 suites and a meeting center that includes 26 meeting rooms and more than 22,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space.
Hyatt Regency Century Plaza at Beverly Hills completed a $1 million upgrade to the hotel’s plaza level and ballrooms. The revamped plaza level has 12,000 square feet of meeting space with two junior ballrooms that can be divided into four distinct venues.
