Deals: Santa Clara hotels, Tri-Valley meetings

Tri-Valley CVB has created the Try Our Valley group incentive program, which offers cash back per booked room night for groups of 50 or more. The maximum rebate is $10 per night for 500 rooms, or $5,000. Planners who book their event by June 30 will be entered into a drawing to win an additional cash prize of $5,000. The California CVB is the destination marketing organization for five cities in San Francisco’s East Bay: Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, San Ramon and Danville. The region has more than 4,000 hotel rooms and 100 meeting and event venues, and it is located approximately 40 minutes away from all major San Francisco airports.

Ten Santa Clara, Calif., hotels are offering discount packages with California’s Great America theme park. The package includes one weekend night room and two theme park tickets, and some hotels include free breakfast. The deal is good through October 30; participating hotels includeHyatt Regency (attached to the convention center), Embassy Suites, Hilton Santa Clara, and Marriott.

New Orleans Marriott’s Lucky 11 offer for qualified meetings includes an 11 percent master bill rebate of up to $25,000, an attrition allowance of 22 percent, discounts on in-room Internet and parking, and VIP upgrades. Bookings made between March 31 and May 31 for groups of more than 250 rooms qualify. The hotel has more than 80,000 square feet of meeting and event space, the largest hotel ballroom in Louisiana and is within walking distance to many of the city’s landmarks.
