Hilton Americas-Houston

It’s already the largest hotel in Houston and connected to the George R. Brown Convention Center, and the Hilton Americas-Houston continues to differentiate itself. A permanent art collection featuring works by Houston and Texas artists gives a local touch to the hotel’s 1,200 guest rooms and public spaces, including its 91,500 square feet of meeting space. It’s also the first Green Seal certified hotel in Texas. It earned the recognition because of its recycling program, donations of leftover food to local shelters and energy efficient practices. An AquaRecycle water reclamation system has reduced hotel water usage by 75 percent. The hotel also does laundry for the convention center and seven area hotels.
