Hilton Americas-Houston completes renovation

Hilton Americas-Houston recently completed an $11 million renovation that updated and redesigned all of the hotel’s 1,200 guest rooms. High-definition TVs, Hilton Serenity beds, new artwork and furnishings are in the bedrooms, while the bathrooms feature granite countertops, new mirrors and water-conserving showerheads. The 19th floor executive lounge was also upgraded with new computers and meeting spaces, and the hotel’s 91,500 square feet of meeting and function areas has new carpeting throughout. The hotel has three restaurants, a coffee shop and full-service spa, and is connected to the George R. Brown Convention Center, which provides an additional 1.2 million square feet of flexible meeting space.
