In the Works: Hilton Columbus
Set to open in September, the Hilton Columbus Downtown will add 532 guest rooms to the Ohio city. The $140 million property will have 48 suites and 22,800 square feet of meeting space. The modern building, featuring an exterior of brick and glass, is being constructed with LEED certification in mind. The hotel is adjacent to the Greater Columbus Convention Center, which has 1.7 million square feet of meeting space. They are connected by an enclosed glass walkway. The hotel is not taking reservations as of press time, but should be open by the time Rejuvenate Marketplace heads to Columbus in October.
