In the Works: Manchester Grand San Diego Renovation
A three-phase makeover at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego is underway, and will transform the meeting space and guest rooms before completion in fall 2013. The hotel’s more than 1,600 guest rooms will be updated with an urban maritime theme and will have new carpeting, curtains and bedding. The guest room corridors will also have new carpet and fresh wall coverings, and the hotel’s public areas will be renovated. There is more than 125,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space at the hotel, including the Elizabeth Ballroom, one of the largest in the city.
