OFFSITE opens in Manhattan
New York has a new, versatile, high-functioning facility for meetings: OFFSITE. “Manhattan is the most traveled-to destination in the country for business, and we noticed a void in the Midtown market for multipurpose venues,” says Shaun Kessler, co-creator of the new venue. “Our goal with OFFSITE is to provide a facility that is stylish, yet comfortable and can be tailored to suit all of their needs.” The three-story, 4,200-sq.-ft. space, which is a short walk from Grand Central Station, Penn Station and most subway lines in the city, is ideal for board meetings, focus groups, product launches and social events. Each room is tailored to a specific purpose, from the spacious lounge for free-flowing conversation on the street level to the mezzanine conference room overlooking the main floor designed to spark imaginative thinking and discussion. The facility’s technology includes a complete audiovisual and conferencing system with multi-screen synced projections, live camera feed capabilites, professionally designed sound and lighting, and live music input integration. Other features include floor-to-ceiling whiteboard walls, digital smart boards, iMacs and iPads.
