Westin San Jose in the works

Starwood Hotels and Resorts will open the new Westin in downtown San Jose at the former site of the Sainte Claire Hotel.

The Westin brand is coming to San Jose, Calif., next summer when the Westin San Jose opens in what was formerly the Sainte Claire. The building, constructed in 1926, is a National Historic Landmark located across the street from the newly expanded San Jose McEnery Convention Center. The hotel will undergo a complete renovation and rebranding. All 171 guest rooms and suites will have Westin Heavenly beds, showers and robes. In-room amenities will include high-speed Internet access and ergonomic workspaces. The SuperFoodsRX menu will also be available. The property’s 10,000 square feet of meeting space is fully renovated.
