Marketplace Spotlight: Rethinking Meetings Panel
Wednesday, Oct. 24, 1:15-2:15 p.m.
Battelle Grand C
Sponsored by Visit Buffalo Niagara
Some of the best learning or retention occurs outside the education sessions. How does the physical space affect networking and information exchange? How can you design your meetings to encourage better collaboration and active networking? How can you make sure the conversation continues long after the meeting ends?
This session will be active, exciting, informative, inspiring and practical. To make this happen, we need your participation. Sticky notes have been left in education rooms and in the hallways throughout Marketplace. Please take a few minutes to write your brief questions and comments—ideas you’d like to discuss during this session. Leading up to the session, put your sticky notes on the appropriate topic boards—Rethinking Meetings, Social Media, Environmental Design and Strategic Planning—in the hallway outside education rooms on the first floor. During the session, each topic will be moderated by one of our speakers. Attendees can choose a topic, switch to another at the designated halfway point, or get up and move around.
