Senior Sales Manager, Kenner Liaison, Jefferson CVB
Jefferson Parish, La.

Barrett began her hospitality career as a front desk agent on the early 7 a.m.-3 p.m. shift. That grew into a passion for the industry where she prides herself on building relationships, going the extra mile and being a mentor. The love for her CVB job is apparent to all.

Career accomplishments:
Barrett worked at hotels in New Orleans; Memphis, Tennessee; St. Louis; and Denver before joining JCVB. At each one, she exceeded her goals, provided enthusiasm for her job and became known for getting the job done, which is the reason she serves on boards of
several organizations.

Rave review:
“Carolyn has given me a full toolbox to succeed. She is an invaluable mentor,” says Leslie C. Landeche, director of group sales at Pelican New Orleans.

My first job in the hospitality industry was…  hotel bartender.
