Christian Schroeder began his career in the hospitality and tourism industry while attending Appalachian State University, where he volunteered with university admissions, leading campus tours to prospective students and families. After graduating, he continued his career at Kingston Plantation in South Carolina before joining the Visit Winston-Salem sales team in 2010.

Career accomplishments:
Christian Schroeder has 14 years of experience with a strong hotel operations and CVB sales background. He has served on the MPI Carolinas Chapter board since 2010 and is the immediate past president. He enjoys leading a team of sales managers responsible for association, religious and corporate events that focus on bringing business to Winston-Salem.
