Coming Soon: Kalahari Resorts & Conventions Expansions

By Sponsored Content, September 7, 2017

Achieving all of your group’s event goals can be overwhelming, but with Kalahari Resorts & Conventions’ new expansions, it’s easier than ever before. In 2020, the one-of-a-kind convention experience is expanding to Round Rock, Texas, with 990 guest rooms and a 200,000-square-foot convention center. And in 2019, both the Wisconsin Dells and Pocono Mountains convention centers are doubling in size so that your event can too.

To an already impressive 100,000 square feet of flexible space, 125,000 additional square feet will be added to the Dells property, along with a brand-new 56,000-square-foot ballroom to join the two that exist. The Pocono Mountains property is adding 134,000 square feet of space, bringing the total size of the convention facility to 234,000 square feet. The expansion will feature 21 new meeting rooms, resulting in 39 total meeting spaces. The newly expanded properties will join our Sandusky, Ohio, property — with 215,000 square feet of flexible space — in its great size. It’s a good thing, too, because events hosted at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions have consistent event attendance increases of more than 20%.

And that’s just one way we have your back. At Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, a dedicated team of expert staff will work with you on everything, from exquisite catering and optimal room layout to budget needs and team-building ideas, to ensure all of your objectives are met and exceeded. Couple that with our one-of-a-kind, stunningly African-inspired, vacation-style venue, and you have the experience of a lifetime for both you and your guests. While you’re enjoying an effortless process, your attendees will be wowed by our resort, where everything is located under one roof. Hundreds of thousands of feet of customizable meeting spaces with state-of-the-art technology, hi-def projectors and monitors, advanced lighting and AV controls, 10-hour ergonomic convention chairs and internet bandwidth speeds with 1 GB capacity is just the beginning.

When your guests aren’t immersed in your group’s activities, they can enjoy endless on-property entertainment, like America’s Largest Indoor Waterparks, adventure parks, arcades, a first-class spa and more. To top off the adventure, beautiful guest rooms and a variety of dining options that can accommodate dietary customs are offered. Properties are conveniently located under two hours from major metropolitan centers, offering an easy commute but enough separation for total focus on and engagement in your religious experience. With all of that space, technology and amenity fun, it’s no wonder hosting an event at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is a meeting planner’s dream and a guest’s paradise.
