Keeping Up With The Davis Family

By Connect Staff, July 29, 2019

Tell us what can we expect this year from Emerge for Impact and Impacting Love?

LD: Well, where do I start? I would say there are three new and exciting things in the works.

Emerge for Impact is launching a new series where we are on a mission to find the premier locations to bring couples for weekend getaways and annual retreats. We have partnered with several CVBs and suppliers who have invited us to experience the areas first, so we will be capturing every moment of our time on location. It’s our journey where we imagine more and explore the food, art, music and style that make every day extraordinary.

Secondly, Emerge has officially launched a new division for event management and production. We’ve had such a demand to serve more people, so my team is growing and I love it! We plan 20 meetings a year from clients all over the nation and across various market segments. That’s why I am so grateful to have this relationship with Connect and attend the trade shows every year. The networking, appointments and education keep me deeply engaged with industry trends. Hopefully, in 2020, we will plan global conferences.

What’s No. 3?

LD: We are speaking at United Auto Workers of America Chaplaincy Conference June 2 through 7. More than 250 chaplains from across the nation will gather for teaching, encouragement, strengthening and fun.

And our big announcement is… All I can say is Aug. 10, 2019: “Reset for My Glory” prayer gathering. We are bringing people of faith together to pray. Families are broken. Our youth are dying. Our nation is in an uproar. What will happen when we unify as one people, with one heart and one sound? A new culture.

Can groups attend to volunteer and support this event?

GD: We’re anticipating people of faith from Buffalo, New York, to Soweto, South Africa, coming to experience this divine encounter.
