“The Star” Brings the Nativity to Life

Move over, “Moana.” Say hello to “The Star: The Story of the First Christmas.

You kids will go over the new animated movie, which comes out this week. “The Star” centers on Bo, an adventure-seeking donkey who encounters other animal friends when he escapes his job at the mill in search of something more.

The group eventually finds themselves playing a key role  in Jesus’ birth. The star-studded cast includes Kelly Clarkson, Kristin Chenoweth and Tyler Perry, and the soundtrack will include new music from Christmas go-to gal Mariah Carey.
