Virgin America Beefs Up in-Flight Entertainment

By Anna Dunn, January 25, 2016

Virgin America is touting its improved in-flight Wi-Fi through partnerships with Netflix, Spotify and The New York Times. Now in beta through March 2, 2016, the service gives fliers complimentary access to video, music and news streamed to their mobile devices onboard any of the airline’s 10 new ViaSat Wi-Fi-equipped Airbus A320 aircraft. As the first airline to team up with Spotify, Virgin America grants access to the streaming service’s library of more than 30 million songs and has created more than 60 city-inspired Mood Lists to get guests excited about their destination.
