CVB’s Faith in Phoenix Team Welcomes Religious Planners

By Rejuvenate Staff, September 15, 2014

In March, nearly 100 hospitality professionals lined the streets of Phoenix for the CVB’s Hands Across Phoenix program to welcome a group of faith-based meeting planners to a site visit. The CVB’s Faith In Phoenix team planned the greeting in an effort to attract more faith-based event planners to the city. “The goal of Hands Across Phoenix was to display our dedication to welcoming groups, and our Southwestern charm and hospitality,” says Julie Nicolazzi, CMP, Visit Phoenix’s director of national accounts for the Midwest. The CVB continues its efforts to attract planners with discounted rates from hotels, resorts and the LEED Silver-certified Phoenix Convention Center. Other attractions include the Arizona Science Center, Children’s Museum of Phoenix, Phoenix Art Museum, Heard Museum and Phoenix Zoo.
