DFW Airports Opens Group Zone

By Rejuvenate Staff, July 16, 2014

Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport debuted a new space called Group Zone in January. The space is designed for meeting attendees who want to connect with each other and discuss itineraries or other meeting details as they await flights to their event destination.

The 8,000-sq.-ft. space is open 24/7 and can hold up to 200 people. It can be rented by the hour or by the day, and the space can be secured online. Group Zone is located in Terminal B, and it has space to store luggage so attendees can spend time browsing the terminal’s shops and restaurants before their flight.

Also new at DFW Airport are 30 Automated Passport Control kiosks, which allow U.S. and Canadian travelers to electronically enter their passport information upon re-entering the United States from other countries. The kiosks will reduce wait times for travelers in the arrivals hall.
