Marriott hotels recently launched Meetings Imagined, a Pinterest-esque platform that helps planners and hotels collaborate on custom events. Tips, trends and images can be saved to a planner’s photo set for various categories such as F&B, decor or activities. The pretty, user-friendly site has images from events hosted by Marriott as well as brief articles, which can all be shared to social sites and with colleagues. “We’re reinventing planning to be more visual, social and purposeful,” says Jennifer Hsieh, Marriott’s vice president of insight, strategy and innovation.
