Now Open: Noah’s Ark

A full-size replica of Noah’s Ark opened July 7 in Williamstown, Kentucky (about 40 miles south of Cincinnati), by the founders of Northern Kentucky’s Creation Museum. The 510-ft. structure anchors a 600-acre biblical theme park called Ark Encounter and broke ground last summer. The park will have daily live performances and special events (no word yet on whether it will be available to rent), and the owners say they’re expecting more than 1.6 million visitors to the park during its first year.

Flagstaff is known for its endless array of outdoor activities, Native American history and lively downtown—and a hidden gem for small- to midsize events.
