A multimillion-dollar renovation is complete at La Quinta Resort & Club, one of the oldest hotels in the Palm Springs area. Originally opened on the cusp of Hollywood’s Golden Age in 1926, the independent La Quinta became a popular place for movie stars, but has since become Waldorf Astoria-branded primed for large meetings after its recent renovation.
The property now has more than 190,000 square feet of updated event space, which includes the 17,000-sq.-ft. Fiesta Ballroom that breaks down into 14 separate meeting rooms. Both the Fiesta and Flores ballrooms have attached verandas, and combined with 10 other meeting rooms and two outdoor lawns, the property has space for 2,000 guests.
One trait that sets La Quinta apart from others in the area is its pool experience. Guests shouldn’t have a problem finding a quiet place for relaxation with 41 pools and 53 hot spas (all updated during the renovation) scattered throughout the 45-acre property to choose from.
