Now Open: Le Meridien Charlotte

By Rejuvenate Staff, January 30, 2015

A storied building assumed a decidedly new vibe with the opening of Le Meridien Charlotte in uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. Debuting in December 2014 in the former Blake Hotel building, Le Meridien Charlotte brings a modern touch to a convenient location with skyline views of the city.

The 300-room hotel has 55,000 square feet of meeting space spread across 25 meeting rooms and is within walking distance of Charlotte’s Uptown business district, home to the 850,000-sq.-ft. Charlotte Convention Center and 2,097-seat Belk Theater at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. On-site cuisine includes steaks and homemade pastas at Evoke Restaurant. The hotel lobby, known as The Hub, serves handcrafted espressos and pastries amid a library of books, a combination sure to get brains fired up before early-morning meetings. Post-con, guests can take in the cityscape
of Charlotte from the hotel rooftop, or take a dip in the indoor saltwater pool. As a bonus, the hotel coexists with Sheraton Charlotte Hotel, which has an additional 305 guest rooms.
