Now Open | The Hope Center

By Rejuvenate Staff, December 23, 2014

The one-of-a-kind Hope Center north of Dallas in Plano, Texas, celebrated its five-year anniversary by revealing new renovations and having a formal dedication in October. Home to more than 40 tenant ministry partners, the 9-acre campus and worship center has an 185,000-sq.-ft. lodge-style center that includes a prayer garden and serene walking paths. Renovations to the property include the additions of Cafe 6:19, which serves lunch and espresso, and an on-site book store, a resource library with titles from top evangelical leaders and a wide range of faith topics. Meeting rooms can hold groups as small as 10-15 people and the conference center can hold as many as 600 people. In 2014, some of the faith-based events they hosted include Roaring Lambs Annual Christian Writers Conference, National Day of Prayer and Stand for the Gospel Conference, all of which brought in more than 200 attendees.

“It’s the roaring fireplace and an abundance of strong ministry-focused imaging, as well as a prayer garden oasis for reflection and impromptu meetings” that draw faith-based groups to the center, explains Stan Keith, the center’s president and CEO. “The volunteers in Plano across ministry types are critical to the lifeblood of a center where so many ministries are reaching so many people in every corner of the world,” he says.
