Now Open | Sheraton Pittsburgh at Station Square

By Rejuvenate Staff, December 21, 2014

In October, this Pittsburgh waterfront hotel got an extensive $15 million face-lift to help the building’s facade better complement its modern city surroundings. Sheraton Pittsburgh at Station Square, which sits along the Monongahela River in the heart of a 52-acre complex including Station Square, has been completely upgraded with revamped guest rooms and suites, and a renovated lobby and Trackside restaurant. Thirty-thousand square feet of meeting space were also refreshed. New wall coverings, carpet and lighting enhance the meeting rooms and Grand Station Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 1,400 people for a reception or 720 seated.

While sweeping city views are prevalent throughout the property, attendees aren’t too far from experiencing the excitement of downtown Heinz Field, PNC Park, Consol Energy Center, Rivers Casino and David L. Lawrence Convention Center, all less than 3 miles away. The hotel is also conveniently adjacent to 20 restaurants within Station Square, the Fountain at Bessemer Court and the Gateway Clipper Fleet of riverboats for those seeking a variety of off-site dining and entertainment options.
