One of Seattle’s top convention hotels is also quickly becoming known for its sustainability initiatives. The 457-room Grand Hyatt Seattle, 1 mile from the Space Needle, has implemented a water-recycling program that saves 365,000 gallons of water per month and energy in heating water. The hotel is across the street from Washington State Convention Center and has 25,000 square feet of meeting space. Two ballrooms are on the first floor: the 5,700-sq.-ft. Leonesa Ballroom and the 3,900-sq.-ft. Princessa Ballroom. The first floor also has the 159-seat Eliza Anderson Amphitheater with high-resolution screens.

Guest room views include the Puget Sound, downtown Seattle, and the Olympic and Cascade mountains. The hotel is within walking distance of Seattle Aquarium, Pike Place Market, Seattle Art Museum and the monorail that takes visitors to Seattle Center.
