Hilton Orlando debuted its newest event space, The Promenade, last November. The 1,417-room hotel is located near SeaWorld Orlando, Universal Orlando Resort and Walt Disney World. Shuttle service is available for a fee to all attractions (free to SeaWorld) and Orlando International Airport. The hotel is connected to Orange County Convention Center via an open-air bridge.
The 50,000-sq.-ft. outdoor Promenade includes four venues. The elevated Sky Terrace measures 10,500 square feet and accommodates 700 attendees for banquets and 1,000 for receptions. Grande Lawn holds 700 for banquets and 1,200 for receptions in its 9,800 square feet of event space. The 8,200-sq.-ft. Fountain Plaza holds 700 for receptions or 450 for seated dinners. Both Grande Lawn and Fountain Plaza have tented options. The 4,500-sq.-ft. Sun Garden accommodates 180 to 350.
The new space supplements the hotel’s existing 175,000 square feet of indoor space, which includes 21 meeting rooms, nine boardrooms and three ballrooms, the largest of which measures 50,000 square feet.
All guest rooms have flat-screen TVs, workstations, and wired and wireless Internet access. There are six restaurants on-site, plus room service. The hotel has a 24-hour fitness center and two pools, one with a waterslide and one quiet pool for adults only. There’s also an 892-ft. lazy river.
