With flexible space and sustainable practices (it’s LEED-Silver certified), the award-winning San Diego Convention Center has been named one of the top convention centers in the region. Located within walking distance of San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter, SDCC is situated on the city’s harbor overlooking San Diego Bay.

The 2.6-million-sq.-ft. building has 615,700 square feet of dividable exhibit space, two column-free ballrooms, 184,514 square feet of outdoor space, a 90,000-sq.-ft. pavilion and 284,494 square feet of prefunction space. SDCC offers a variety of services, such as audiovisual equipment, on-site catering and a 130-seat restaurant, ample security, a business center, and a concierge that can arrange off-site gatherings. There are more than 11,000 guest rooms within a mile and a half of SDCC, and the 1,190-room Hilton San Diego Bayfront is adjacent to the center. The SDCC is located near two light-rail stations, providing quick access to other destinations around San Diego. There is also a ferry from the convention center to Coronado just across the bay. The nearby Gaslamp District is a short walk away and has more than 90 local shops, restaurants and cafes.
